You all have read the phrase ‘Smoking is injurious to health’. According to a report by the World Health Organization, the ill-effects of smoking include throat and lung cancer, heart disease, emphysema, and other complications. It’s needless to say that the habit is injurious to health and should be avoided by all.
The cigarette is a narrow cylinder containing a mixture of tobacco and other substances, usually including paper. The size, shape, and length of cigarette are largely determined by the type of tobacco cut used to fill it. In some cases, flavorings may be added to the mixture.
So, if you’re a smoker, don’t smoke. If you’re a non-smoker, don’t start. And, if you do smoke, then quit. All smokers know that smoking is bad for their health, but they still do it? Why? They’re addicted to nicotine and they can’t stop the habit.
Cigarette problems are something that should be talked about. The more information we can get out there about the harmful effects of smoking, the more people can be encouraged to quit or, at the very least, cut down on how much they smoke.
